Des Moines, Iowa — The American Civil Liberties Union of Iowa is pleased to announce that six new board members have been installed on its statewide Board of Directors.
 
They are:
  • Marlú Abarca of Des Moines
  • Jazmin Newton-Butt of Davenport
  • Caitlin Peterson of West Des Moines and Ames
  • Sonia Reyes-Snyder of Clive
  • Wallas Wiggins of Bettendorf
  • Jonathan Wilson of Des Moines 
Steven J. Drahozal of Dubuque, Mark Kende of Des Moines, and Mark Rosenbury of West Des Moines have previously served on the board and were re-elected.
 
The directors each have three-year terms. The 22-member board meets several times a year to establish policy and program direction for the ACLU of Iowa.
